Aplikasi (application) CD Ripping Linux

1.  Grip
     Grip is a cd-player and cd-ripper for the Gnome desktop. It has the ripping capabilities of cdparanoia builtin, but can also use external rippers (such as cdda2wav). It also provides an automated frontend for MP3 (and other audio format) encoders, letting you take a disc and transform it easily straight into MP3s. Internet disc lookups are supported for retrieving track information from disc database servers.

2.  Audacity
     Audacity® is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems. Learn more about Audacity... Also check our Wiki and Forum for more information.


3.  ripperX 
     RipperX is a GTK program to rip CD audio tracks and encode them to the Ogg, MP3, or FLAC formats. It's goal is to be easy to use, requiring only a few mouse clicks to convert an entire album. It supports CDDB lookups for album and track information, can

4.  MARS (Mindawn Audio Ripping Software)
   MARS (Mindawn Audio Ripping Software) is a freely available (but not GPL) program for easily and conveniently ripping CDs into either FLAC or the Ogg Vorbis format. If you are not familiar with these formats, they available from Xiph
    Ogg Vorbis compresses smaller and creates higher fidelity files than MP3. Ogg Vorbis also doesn't have any license time bombs or restrictions associated with it as MP3 does. You can look here to see what we mean. MP3 royalties will cost you either directly as a producer or indirectly as a consumer. The FLAC format provides CD quality audio. There is no loss in the compression used, and FLAC can easily be uncompressed back out to a WAV or AIFF file.  
  
5.  Abcde - A Better CD Encoder    
     Abcde is a frontend command-line utility (actually, a shell script) that grabs tracks off a CD, encodes them to ogg or mp3 format, and tags them, all in one go.

6.  cdda2wav
     Cdda2wav is a free compact disc digital audio CDDA grabber originally written for MSDOS, and later ported to Linux. It is distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL. The copyright is held by Heiko Eißfeldt. Cdda2wav has been developed with portability in mind. It runs on a variety of operating systems.

7.  Gnome Toaster
     Gnome Toaster. A complete cd recording environment written in Gtk with optional Gnome Support. supports TAO and DAO recording using cdrecord&cdrdao, free file selection using a comfortable built-in filemanager or optionally any gtk draganddrop compatible external program.

8.  CDDA Paranoia
     CDDA Paranoia. This is the main distribution site for the Paranoia project libraries (Paranoia II and III) and the audio CD digital audio extraction application cdparanoia. Cdparanoia extracts audio from compact discs directly as data, with no analog step between, and writes the data to a file or pipe in WAV, AIFC, AIFC or raw 16 bit linear PCM.

10. DAGRAB
      Dagrab is a program for reading audio tracks from a cdrom drive into wav sound files. It should work with any cdrom drive,provided that digital audio extraction is supported from both the drive and its linux driver, but is only tested with IDE cdroms. If your cd is not IDE, you better try out other programs, like cdparanoia (all cd brands) or cdda2wav (SCSI and IDE only); they' re both free and available on the net; cdparanoia should be the best one, but I didn't try it out enough yet.

11. SimpleCDR-X
      SimpleCDR-X is a GTK+ based frontend for CD writing, mastering, and audio manipulation. Its design goals include ease of use and a clean interface without compromising functionality. SimpleCDR-X utilizes many common utilities cd and audio utilities.

12. ratrip
      Rat Rip is a CD audio ripper / OggVorbis Encoder designed to record to ogg right from the CD using the CDDB for id3 tagging. Console and Tk versions available.

13. AutoRip 
    autorip is a non-interactive, non-intrusive mp3 rip-and-encode front end. Simply drop your CD into your CD-ROM drive, wait for your CD to eject, wash, rinse, and repeat.

14. Sound Juicer
      Sound Juicer is a clean, mean, and lean CD ripper for GNOME 2. It sports a clean interface and simple preferences, aiming to do The Right Thing and What You Mean all of the time. It requires GNOME and GStreamer.
